Solid Ground

 Hi, my name is Jessie Carlson, and I hang out with junior highers for a living. And it's awesome.

When I was eleven, just starting junior high, I opened up my heart to Jesus as my Savior, and began to follow Him. Struggling to discover who I was and what my life was about, I decided to find my identity in Christ and make my life about His purposes. It was the best decision I've ever made. And now I get to see kids making the same life-changing decision and embarking on the greatest adventure ever: eternal life.

Wednesday nights you can find me (along with my handsome husband and sweet baby boy) worshiping God thru games, music, food and discussion at "Rock Solid Junior High." These are the greatest kids on the planet, led by the best youth sponsors I could ask for. Seriously, they rock. We also have lots of special events and camps and beach trips and worship nights and Walleyball smackdowns and...just plain awesomeness. 7th and 8th graders, you do NOT want to miss out. Come hang out with us and go deeper in your relationship with Christ. I know you'll be glad you did.

In other news...I have a godly husband, a precious little son, and two spoiled doggies. I love coffee, clothes, Disneyland, Mexican food, Solid Ground Christian Fellowship, and the City of Redlands (not in that order). I love my Bible and my Jesus, and I am a work-in-progress.
